"I could easily live here. The Monastery is spacious without being imposing. The pool is really great; one of the best we've seen. We stayed for four weeks and frankly another four would have been fab. The garden is private, self-contained and pet-friendlyand we just loved it. The interior is stylish, understated, save for the quite magnificent "Great Hall" which is really quite cool. We had a series of friends turn up during our stay and the house was perfect for us all. Our kids are 8 and 10 respectively and they had a ball. For entertaing at home, with the odd excursion into Avignon, this is hard to beat. The outdoor dining room was really nice. We loved it. I wish I was there now."

Casa degli Orsi, Piedmont, Italy
"What a joyous place, spacious and beautifully finished, with a real sense that it is very well loved. And what a view! We hope to return one day for a longer stay, with a bigger group, and have luxuriant feasts at the lovely big dining table. Splendid!"
"We wanted to tell you how much we appreciated your wonderful house! It is’ un bijou’! We felt so well there that we spent much time in the courtyard, bathing in the sun, discussing, having nice lunches, etc. etc. But especially we felt that the view of the valley, the vineyards, the village - is a very inspiring place, for thinking, for artists, for writing.... We appreciated every detail in the house, from the furniture to the décor, the nice kitchen, everything perfectly fitting to this Italian ‘Slow Food’ Piedmont. We found really good food and went very often to Acqui Terme where we loved the atmosphere and ate our daily ice cream there. This little town is a jewel!"
Gite: Manoir La Goziniere
"The warm welcome, stunning manor house and surroundings, and stylish Gite gave us an authentic taste of rural France. Peter and Caroliyn are the perfect hosts; charming yet unobtrusive, and we spent seven days of bliss enjoying the swimming pool, beautiful parkland and cooking with organic vegetables from the garden whilst relaxing in the warm sunshine and fresh air. My daughters made a lifelong friend in the form of Figaro, the cheeky ginger kitten who still corresponds regularly with the girls, and whose photo hangs in their bedroom! Thoroughly recommended for those who wish to get away from it all".
